Dentistry
As dental health is an important factor in your pet’s life, it is important that their teeth are checked annually. This can be done at your annual booster by our vets or at our nurse clinics. For those requiring treatment we offer a dental service.
This includes dental x-rays, scale & polish and extractions if required. These are performed by a vet or a registered nurse.
24 Hour Emergency Cover
To ensure our patients are covered throughout the night and weekends James Street Vets transfer clients to a dedicated Emergency Service, East Lincolnshire Emergency Vets (ELEV), based at 2 Eastfield Road, Louth, LN11 7AN.
By calling 01507 602828 you will be transferred to the vet on duty.
There will be an OOH call out charge by the emergency service and fees are payable to ELEV.
Consultations
Consults are run by our team of Vets, these are allocated time slots dedicated to you and your pet, where you can discuss all of your animals requirements. This is also a great time for owners to ask questions.
Nurse Clinics
These are run daily by our trained veterinary nurses between 9am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
They include: Geriatric clinics, Dental Checks, Post op Checks, Microchips, 2nd Vaccination, Dematts and grooming, new animal health check and much more.
Exotics
We are lucky here at James Street Vets, we have three of our vets that are interested in their exotic work. Andrew Cook, Andrew Tacey and Mariana Nascimento are very keen enthusiasts and are more than happy to treat a wide range of species, varying from birds to reptiles. On site parking is available for our clients.
Poo Bin
We have a poo bin situated in the car-park for use of the community dog owners and clients.
