As dental health is an important factor in your pet’s life, it is important that their teeth are checked annually. This can be done at your annual booster by our vets or at our nurse clinics. For those requiring treatment we offer a dental service.
This includes scale and polish and extractions if required. These are performed by our Vets and Vet Nurses.
24 Hour Emergency Cover
To ensure our patients are covered throughout the night and weekends, James Street have teamed up with Black Sheep to ensure that our clients have a Louth based vet that they can go to in case of emergencies.
By calling 01507 602828 you will be put through to the vet on duty.
There is an out-of-hours call out charge. Between 7am-10pm this is £75
Between 10pm- 7am this £100
Consults are run by our team of Vets, these are allocated time slots dedicated to you and your pet, where you can discuss all of your animals requirements. This is also a great time for owners to ask questions.
These are run daily by our trained veterinary nurses between 9am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
They include: Geriatric clinics, Dental Checks, Post op Checks, Microchips, 2nd Vaccination, Dematts and grooming, new animal health check and much more.
We are lucky here at James Street to have two of our vets that are very interested in their exotic work. Andrew Cook and Andrew Tacey are both very keen enthusiasts and are more than happy to treat a wide range of species, varying from birds to reptiles. Click here to go to our Exotic Animals page.
On site parking is available for our clients.
We have a poo bin situated in the car-park for use of the community dog owners and clients.
Disabled access is well catered for in our surgery. We have a ramp for access into the building, a disabled toilet, all our consult rooms are on ground level and our reception desk has a lower section to enable wheelchair users to approach our friendly reception staff.
